Walter Godbold

Walter is a true community man, being born and raised in Myrtle Beach. He began his tax and accounting journey at Coastal Carolina University, when it was a branch of University of South Carolina, and completed his education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Walter is a member of the AICPA and SCACPA, and founded his own company, currently named Godbold & Romanov CPAs, in 1995. Walter’s experience ranges from auditing and business consulting to tax accounting and estate tax planning. His specialty is in all forms of tax preparation review and business consulting, and he is an invaluable resource and leader at his firm.

In Walter’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and attending sporting events.
