Walter Godbold

Born and raised in Myrtle Beach, Walter is a lifelong member of this community. He began his tax and accounting career at Coastal Carolina University, when it was a branch of the University of South Carolina, and went on to complete his education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees of Accountancy. In 1995, Walter founded what is now Godbold, Romanov & Love CPAs. Walter brings decades of experience in auditing, tax accounting, estate tax planning and business consulting and is a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the AICPA, SCACPA and NACVA.

Outside of the office, Walter enjoys spending time with his wife and children and attending sporting events.
